When God Ran

In these past few days, I just found myself being rebellious. I didn't open my Bible and never took the opportunity to pray and devote my self to Him. Then, discouragement and disappointment came. I tried to talk to God, yet I am not willing to listen. I cried. Still, GOD's FAITHFULNESS is indescribable. He did not let me fall away. I am reminded again of HIS love, HIS UNDYING love for me, for us.

Then, a sister in Christ texted me. She said,
GOD takes us into deep waters not to drown us, but to CLEANSE us. And HE disciplines those HE LOVES.
Almighty God, I stand in awe of You, Lord. Thanks YOU for Your unconditional LOVE. Thank YOU for Your MERCY. Thank You for the FORGIVENESS that You gave. I love You, because You have loved me first with Your everlasting LOVE. In JESUS' Mighty Name, Amen.

And now, let me share to you this beautiful song that really touched my heart. May the message inspire you, too. GOD bless, and let's BLESS GOD with our decisions.

What Faith Can Do

Last night, I was having a conversation with some of my fellow Christians who are also in the Music Team. We have shared some songs that we like the most. Then, they gave some links to videos for me to watch for. I came across this video performed by Kutless, one of my favorite Christian bands. After I've seen it, I cried. As in I cried a lot. I had goose bumps. God made me realize something. He made me think again and evaluate my relationship with Him. These past few weeks, I've been very busy with the ministry. It even came to point wherein I almost forgot my real purpose: to Glorify and Honor God all the time. My focus that time is to make myself popular. And I was so ashamed :( But then this song served as an encouragement to me. Yes, there will come a time that we will fall. But the question is, "Are we going to stay in that situation?".

What Faith Can Do
by Kutless

Everybody falls sometimes
Gotta find the strength to rise
From the ashes and make a new beginning
Anyone can feel the ache
You think it’s more than you can take
But you're stronger, stronger than you know
Don’t you give up now
The sun will soon be shining
You gotta face the clouds
To find the silver lining

I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains
Hope that doesn’t ever end
Even when the sky is falling
I’ve seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That’s what faith can do

It doesn’t matter what you’ve heard
Impossible is not a word
It’s just a reason for someone not to try
Everybody’s scared to death
When they decide to take that step
Out on the water
It’ll be alright
Life is so much more
Than what your eyes are seeing
You will find your way
If you keep believing

I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains
Hope that doesn’t ever end
Even when the sky is falling
I’ve seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That’s what faith can do

Overcome the odds
You don't have a chance
(That’s what faith can do)
When the world says you can’t
It’ll tell you that you can!

I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains
Hope that doesn’t ever end
Even when the sky is falling
And I’ve seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That’s what faith can do
That's what faith can do!
Even if you fall sometimes
You will have the strength to rise

Thank You, oh Lord for being my strength and my refuge.

Desert Song

This is one of my favorite songs of the new Hillsong Album. I love to know the "story behind the song" so I searched it out. This one tells the story of the worship leader on this song. It's amazing, heartbreaking, and an awesome reminder that worship is a lifestyle. Even when we don't "feel" like worshiping God, there's victory in worshiping when we can't see the light on the other side of our situation. My prayer is that you, too, will be blessed by this song.

DESERT SONG
by: Hillsong

VERSE 1:
This is my prayer in the desert
When all that's within me feels dry
This is my prayer in my hunger and need
My God is the God who provides

VERSE 2:
This is my prayer in the fire
In weakness or trial or pain
There is a faith proved
Of more worth than gold
So refine me Lord through the flame

CHORUS:
I will bring praise
I will bring praise
No weapon formed against me shall remain
I will rejoice
I will declare
God is my victory and He is here

VERSE 3:
This is my prayer in the battle
When triumph is still on it's way
I am a conqueror and co-heir with Christ
So firm on His promise I'll stand

CHORUS:
I will bring praise
I will bring praise
No weapon formed against me shall remain
I will rejoice
I will declare
God is my victory and He is here

BRIDGE:
All of my life
In every season
You are still God
I have a reason to sing
I have a reason to worship
(4x)

CHORUS:
I will bring praise
I will bring praise
No weapon formed against me shall remain
I will rejoice
I will declare
God is my victory and He is here (x2)

VERSE 4:
This is my prayer in the harvest
When favour and providence flow
I know I'm filled to be emptied again
The seed I've received I will sow

Worthy Is The Lamb

WORTHY IS THE LAMB

Thank you for the cross, Lord.
Thank you for the price you paid.
Bearing all my sin and shame, in love you came
And gave Amazing Grace.

Thank you for this love, Lord.
Thank you for the nail-pierced hands.
Wash me in Your cleansing flow, now all I know
Your forgiveness and embrace.

Worthy is the Lamb
Seated on the throne.
We crown You now with many crowns
You reign victorious!
High and lifted up
Jesus, Son of God.
The Darling of Heaven, crucified...
Worthy is the Lamb.

I will be forever thankful for the life and the love God gave me. Honestly, I'm undergoing a lot of stress due to my problems and trials. But as I listen to this song, I realized that my God is BIGGER than all my circumstances and problems. And even though I don't feel like worshiping Him, I am always reminded that God deserves all my praises. He is WORTHY! He reigns VICTORIOUS! He is HIGH and LIFTED UP!

We can rejoice in the Lord today because HE IS WORTHY of our praise!

My Not-so-Perfect Plan

For me, PLANNING is deciding in advance what is to be done, when, where, how, and by whom it is to be done. Thus, a plan is a determined course of action. It is an attempt on the part of an individual to anticipate in the future in order to achieve better performance. The essence of planning is looking ahead. It is always concerned with the future. So before the clock strikes at 12, i want to share to you my not-so-perfect plan for the coming year 2011 :) and oh! please help me eliminate some unnecessary details. Thanks :)

Here's my list:

  C. Finish reading the Old Testament
  D. Attend a Bible School
  E. Have something special  for my babies in Sunday School :)
  F. Memorize 2 verses a day
  G. Pray daily

II.CAREER

    B. Eat more fruits and vegetables :)
    C. Avoid Make-Ups
    D. Try  new sports
    E. Take Vitamins

IV.INTELLECTUAL

         A. Finish 1 inspirational/good book at least once a month
       B. Memorize 5 songs a month
       C. Watch a good movie once a week
       D. Read one novel every quarter :)
       E. Read in advance the lessons on all my subjects

V.RELATIONAL

     A. Have a date with my boyfriend: JESUS, at least once a week
     B. Learn more recipes for my family
     C. Be more intentional
     D. Invite them to church every Sunday
     E. Set a movie day with family and friends
     F. Meet new friends
     G. Set a day out with the GIRL POWER :) at least once a month
     H. Have a girl talk with my sisters every night

That's it! :) I know to myself that I can do most, if not all, of these things by this promise of God:

But still, I have to do my part as a believer. Proverbs 22:4 says, "Respect and serve the LORD! Your reward will be wealth, a long life, and honor."

Have a wonderful planning! :) GOD BLESS.

"God plans the best for us and together as God's people, He would make us PERFECT." Hebrews 11:40
