"ALWAYS be ready to answer everyone who asks you to explain about the HOPE you have"- 1 Peter 3:15

Peter wrote that in a small group of Christians who, at that time, were persecuted and were being laughed at for being Christians. and one point of Peter is this: ALL OF US should be prepared to tell others how we know God is REAL and how He made us into a New creation through Jesus Christ.

Have you we thought through what we would say to someone who wants to have a personal relationship with God?

Do we have a couple of Bible verses memorized that we could share with them?

Would we be ready to pray with them?

In about two months, I, together with my church mates, am going to a camp. There will be lots of youth that are lost and are hungry for Salvation. The question is, am I equipped enough to go to that battle? How about you? Are you prepared? Let's say you don't have camps like that. Is camp site the only place you could share the Gospel? Even if you just walk outside, there's a girl in the street. She's crying. There's a man whose faith is dying. Love is calling you. Ready your self and rise up!

I just saw this from a friend's note, and I wish to share this to everyone, especially to the teens.

Nowadays, people always relate their feelings to LOVE. To tell you, it is not just about love. You might want to check the list below to really know if it is love. :)

Symptoms and Prognosis:

1. Skipping a heartbeat when thinking of him/her

Symptoms: Love
Prognosis: Ventricular fibrillation and Myocardial Infarction.

2. Restless trembling of hands, feet and other body parts

Symptoms: Love

Prognosis: Parkinson's Disease

Maybe you've come to a point wherein you sought advice from your friends about some "love life thing", and all they said was "FOLLOW YOUR HEART".

I must admit. I, myself, experienced that scenario before. I, being the “inferior” type in the group, tried to follow my heart, as what they have recommended. You know what happened?

I found myself losing my purity, emotionally and spiritually..

After everything that has happened in my life, I am really praising GOD that He let me realize some of the most important things I should always keep in mind.

About our HEART:

The Bible warns us that our heart can lead us in wrong, even DEADLY directions.

Our hearts lie.

Something can “feel” right and be completely wrong.

As what Jeremiah 17:9 says, “The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?"

We need to constantly evaluate the purity of our hearts in Prayer. We can always ask GOD to reveal the things that contaminate us, our hearts, our whole being. And as GOD reveals our wrong attitudes, longings, and desires, we MUST remove them from our hearts.

Of course, I’m not exempted in this. But, my only hope is that my Father in Heaven is FAITHFUL to complete me.

Yes, there are temptations. I cannot deny them. That’s why I’m really praying that GOD would continue to help me guard my heart. I know there is really One who is in control of all the unknowns. We can trust him to lead us through it and protect our hearts in the process.

Let me end with this:

 

 The world takes us to a silver screen on which flickering images of passion and romance play. As we watch, the world says, “This is love”.

GOD takes us to a foot of a tree on which a naked and bloodied man hangs and says, “THIS IS LOVE”. 

Last night, I made sure that I will rise up at exactly 4 o'clock in the morning. I set up three alarm clocks to make sure I won't be late for tomorrow  because honestly, I have a hard time going out of the bed especially when I feel really tired.

Thankfully, this morning, I was up to bed even before the time I set all the alarm clocks! (I think this was the first time. Haha!) I decided not to take a bath because we will be jogging around and will be sweating a lot this morning. I just washed my face, then have my teeth brushed, and hair combed, then I was ready for the said activity.

       It's love month. With that, allow me to share to you the things i love the most. :) But this list is not yet complete because it would take me more than one day to post them all. :)

1.) I LOVE JESUS CHRIST

     JESUS CHRIST is the reason why I exist. He paid for my sins. He shed His blood just for us to be saved. It is because of Jesus that I am able to love others, because Jesus is Love, Himself.

2.) I LOVE MY FAMILY

My family has been my inspiration in dreaming bigger. They are the ones who encourage me to study well and achieve my dreams. Although lately, my parents got separated. But I'm still thankful to God because He allowed me to face this kind of situation to show His Power. He allowed this to happen in my life so that I can trust Him completely.

3.) I LOVE MUSIC

To be more specific, i love singing and listening to sweet songs. They are very pleasing to my ears. Memorizing at least five songs is one of my goals this year. 

4.) I LOVE KIDS :)

This kids really inspire me to always put a smile on my face. They always make me feel special. Those kids in the pictures are my students in Sunday School. Through them, I really feel more loved and more taken care of. I am not saying that at my young age I want to have children already. It's just that I love the way how God is training me to be a better person.

5.) I LOVE MY FRIENDS

I so love them all because they always find time to connect with me. Despite of our busy schedules, they never forget to greet me everyday. I will forever treasure all the memories with them-good and bad. 

6.) I LOVE WINNIE THE POOH AND FRIENDS

          Their cute smiles make me remember my childhood. In my room, you would really tell to yourself that I SO SO love winnie the pooh and friends. :) From my diary to my pillow case, Winnie is a part of me :))

7.) I LOVE PURPLE

If you want proof on this, you can look for my bags, shirts, school supplies, and even accessories. :) It has been my habit of collecting purple stuffs since childhood. That's why, this coming April, I am planning to have a debut party with purple and pink as motif. :)

8.) I LOVE CHOCOLATES

Every time I go to groceries and by some food for my family, the first thing I would look for is the booth for chocolates. :) Eating chocolates is my addiction that is why I'm trying to lessen it. Most of the time, I don't drink water after eating sweets. As a training for my self, I will not eat chocolates without handling a bottle of water.

9.) I LOVE BUTTERFLIES

I don't know exactly the reason why I love butterflies. Maybe because butterfly is a representation of being a woman, a girl. For me, butterflies signify the beauty of simplicity.
