Keeping Christ This Christmas

“After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.” Matthew 2:9-11

More than any other season, it is Christmas that we are reminded of God’s sacrifice of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to save the world. Let us look forward to remembering Christ’s birth on Christmas Day. More than the gifts, the feasting, it is God sacrificing His only begotten Son to save the world that spells everything out about Christmas.

Thank you, Jesus, for taking our place!

Beyond the gift giving, the parties and the feasting, may we keep Christ in our Christmas and give Him the honor that He deserves.

A blessed Christmas to all!

Trying To Conceive Can Be Hard

Supposedly, trying to conceive is to be a natural process that is easy, at least. That is what people would lead you to think. Yet, if you have been trying to conceive for many months or even years, you may realize that having children does not come easily for everyone.

When it comes to getting pregnant, there are sometimes many different obstacles to overcome. Most women think that getting pregnant will just come naturally, but that is not always the case. There are many things that can affect fertility, including medical history, family history, your partner’s health, your age, environmental factors, your own health, and more. This is why it is always a good idea for both you and your partner to make it a point to visit your doctor before you being trying to conceive so that your doctor can help you pinpoint any potential issues that might arise, and you can know what to expect.
